A historical and educational excursion for schoolchildren was organized at the Shymqala Historical and Cultural Complex in Shymkent.
The main purpose of the event was to introduce the younger generation to the history and culture of the Kazakh people, increase interest in national values, and promote historical and cultural heritage.
During the excursion, the students learned about the features of the traditional Kazakh dwelling – the yurt – as well as traditional household items, folk crafts, national clothing, and other elements of traditional culture.
The participants were also introduced to Kazakh customs, traditions, and traditional crafts.
Such excursions help expand students’ knowledge of the history and culture of their region and increase interest in the historical and cultural heritage of Shymkent.
