The Startup Orda-2026 incubation program has launched in Shymkent for young people and startup teams interested in developing their own IT projects. Implemented in partnership with Astana Hub, the program aims to promote technological entrepreneurship in the region, transform promising ideas into real products, and support young startups in entering the market.
The official opening of the program took place at the Shymqala Cultural and Historical Center. The Opening Day event brought together 150 startup founders who had applied to participate in the program. They met the project team and trackers and learned about the upcoming stages of the program.
During the event, participants were introduced to the key stages of startup development, the program structure and upcoming opportunities. They also learned about approaches to developing ideas, testing hypotheses and turning projects into viable products.
Startup Orda-2026 begins with a four-week bootcamp. During this period, participants will take part in masterclasses and workshops, refine their ideas, test hypotheses and develop business models for their projects.
The three-month program covers the journey from an initial idea to the creation of the first working product. The final stage will be Demo Day, where teams will present their projects to experts, partners and guests.
As part of the program, participants will develop practical skills in project analysis, product improvement, hypothesis testing and market entry, while also gaining experience with modern digital tools.
The previous Startup Orda cohort in Shymkent received more than 50 applications, with 20 participants successfully reaching the final stage of the program. During the final Demo Day, participants presented their MVP projects, including Odos AI, Pulse AI and valik.kz.
