Recently built alley in the area of  “Lake” of Al-Farabi district was named – “Shamshi alemi”. This beautiful name will serve the people for centuries. Many regional, republican, international contests, festivals and other competitions are held in “Shamshi әlemi”. This is an alley timed to the 80th anniversary of Shamshi Kaldayakov, who became the king of Kazakh waltz.
