The facility is the largest in the country and aims to become one of the main attractions of the Southern region. The hippodrome accommodates 1500 spectators. In addition to the stabling arenas, it includes 53 stables, a covered stand, a veterinary block, auxiliary facilities, and a spacious parking lot for 310 cars. There is an outdoor terrace on the top floor of the grandstand. For games and competitions, a 2012 meter long race track is provided,
fenced with a special shock-absorbing fence for the safety of horses and riders. Also, areas for kokpar, horse jumping are decorated with quartz sands, natural stones. The racetrack, built in accordance with international standards, is one of the venues for International Sports and entertainment competitions in Shymkent.
