A three-day seminar-training was organized in Shymkent for hotel and restaurant administrators as well as tour guides. The participants were offered master classes combining theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Professionals with extensive experience in the tourism industry and international-level experts were invited as speakers.
Diana Urmanova, a business trainer certified in training business coaches at the ICBT school, an expert in hotel business development, and a professional with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry at international companies such as Sheraton, Hilton Hotels, and Emirates Airline, shared her expertise.
Alexander Yuryevich Mashkov, a service trainer in the food and beverage industry, a PhD-level expert, founder of the first professional school for staff training, and a professional with more than 16 years of experience, gave a lecture.
Evgeny Zalberg, a specialist in training guides, tour leaders, hotel professionals, and tour operators, conducted sessions for the participants. He taught techniques on working with challenging tourists, creating unique routes by engaging local communities, personalizing tourism products and presenting them effectively, providing client-oriented service, and establishing feedback mechanisms.
An experienced trainer and tour guide who worked for 12 years at Grand Circle Corporation in Boston, USA—from tour leader to corporate trainer and regional quality director—delivered a lecture for tourism professionals.
