One of the popular spots for leisure, evening strolls, and entertainment in Shymkent is the technopark «World of Fantasy». Established in 1999, this park has long been a favorite place for relaxation among both residents and visitors of the city. The park spans 5 hectares and offers visitors around 30 diverse attractions. Among the most popular are the extreme «Pirate», the breathtaking «Wild Train», the bright and cheerful «Hammer», the airborne «Tarzan», as well as «Baiterek», «Maze», «Mowgli», «Jumping», and the impressive high slide «Niagara».
During the summer months, the park attracts an average of up to 500 visitors per day. In addition to attractions, the park offers other types of active recreation. Visitors can roller skate in a large indoor rink, enjoy singing favorite songs at the karaoke facility, or watch movies in 7D format at the cinema. The park comes alive in winter too; in 2023, it hosted a New Year’s celebration, with one of the city’s main Christmas trees set up at the entrance, creating a festive atmosphere for all visitors.
