A new hub for contemporary art — KIIZSPACE — has officially opened its doors in Shymkent, immediately drawing the attention of art lovers and the city’s creative community. The art center is located at 11 Tokaev Street and welcomes visitors daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The inaugural exhibition features works by artist Akkali Zakir, whose minimalist approach relies on a black-and-white palette. Behind this simplicity lies a deep exploration of form, space, and boundaries — a visual meditation on how we perceive the world.
Through his monochrome compositions, Akkali seeks to express a sense of inner stillness. His art reveals how depth and emotion can emerge even in the absence of color. The subtle play of light and shadow invites the viewer to see not just with the eyes, but with the heart.
KIIZSPACE is conceived not merely as an exhibition venue, but as a living laboratory of art — a place for artists, curators, and audiences to connect, exchange ideas, and find inspiration.
