The Museum of victims of political repression was opened on November 2, 2001 in honor of the 10th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This museum, which was opened for the first time in the republic for victims of mass political repression, is a clear proof of the importance of restoring
justice in our state and society and perpetuating the memory of the victims of political repression of the last century. The exterior architecture and interior design of the museum were designed for victims of repression.
