Shejіre — a new culinary space of Turkic traditions in Shymkent

A new restaurant, “Shejіre,” has opened in Shymkent — a family-friendly halal venue where the traditions of Turkic nations are combined with modern gastronomy and a stylish ethno-minimalist design. The name “Shezhіre,” meaning lineage, ancestry, reflects the restaurant’s connection to heritage, cultural roots, and continuity between generations.

The restaurant’s concept brings together the best dishes of Turkic cuisine. The menu features culinary traditions of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye, offering rich, authentic flavors prepared according to classic recipes with a contemporary presentation.

The interior is designed in a modern ethno-minimalist style. Natural materials, warm lighting, national patterns, and spacious seating arrangements create a calm and cozy atmosphere suitable for family gatherings, friendly meetings, or a relaxed evening dinner.

One of the restaurant’s key distinctions is that it is the first halal venue in Shymkent to unite the culinary heritage of all Turkic nations in a single menu. The concept is built on hospitality, respect for tradition, and family values — the core meaning behind the name “Shejіre.”

Location: the restaurant is situated in one of the city’s active areas — at the intersection of Argyngbekov and Shayakhmetov Streets, under the Altair residential complex. Its convenient location makes it easily accessible from any part of Shymkent.
