Shymkent city is actively implementing the «OMIR SHYMKENT» tourism project — a modern ethno-glamping complex whose construction is proceeding in line with the approved schedule. The project aims to enhance the region’s tourism potential, promote ethno-tourism, and establish sustainable leisure infrastructure.
At present, the construction site has been fully fenced for 6 glamping houses, and 4 decorative arches have been installed. In addition, 2 capsule houses are ready for installation, while the remaining 8 capsules are currently in the delivery stage. Engineering and landscaping works are being carried out in stages.
The first phase of the project is scheduled to be commissioned in the second quarter of 2026. Upon completion, the «OMIR SHYMKENT» complex is expected to become a new tourist attraction and contribute positively to the economic development of Shymkent.
