The monument “Baydibek bi“ is the tallest monument in the city of Shymkent.

The monument “Baidibek Bi” is the highest monument in Shymkent city. The highest point of the city of Shymkent in the north – 220 meters – was taken for the installation of the monument. The height of the statue is 10 meters, and taking into account the embankment, pedestal and the monument itself, the monument is 23 meters. The monument with a total weight of 9 tons was created in record time – within 20 days.
Baidibek Karashauly (1356-1419) – the name of bi and hero of the Kazakh people, legendary predecessor of the Kazakh family alban, suan, dulat, sary, uysun, shapyrashty, ysty, oshakty of the Great zhuz. He was a friend and companion of Amir Temur. He was popularly known for his righteousness, inventiveness of words, humanity and wisdom.
