On February 22-23, 2025, in order to promote the tourism potential of Shymkent, special information corners were opened in Ust-Kamenogorsk and Burabai. This event involves familiarizing residents and guests of Shymkent with the tourism opportunities of Burabay and Ust-Kamenogorsk.
In the information corners, visitors can get detailed information about historical and cultural sites of Shymkent, entertainment centers, hotels, restaurants and tourist services. In addition, information about the gastronomic features and traditional festivals of Shymkent was presented, special maps, booklets and other information materials were distributed free of charge. This initiative will contribute to the development of Shymkent’s tourism and strengthen mutual cooperation between Burabay and Ust-Kamenogorsk. Information corners play an important role in presenting Shymkent’s tourism potential to residents and guests.
